Frequently Asked Questions
Web Design & Development FAQ's
I’m not sure if anyone can build the quality of website I need. How do I know if you’re a fit?
Take a moment and review our website portfolio. We have a specific design style, so you need to make sure what we consider to be beautiful fits within your thinking as well. If it doesn’t, do consider us for your project. There are oodles and oodles of Web consultants and designers available and you will find one who is a fit if you look.
How Long Does It Take To Create A Website?
This is hard to say, as it varies greatly by client. The length of time it takes to create a fully functional website is based on several factors. Customize web design work can take anywhere from 1 – 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the number of revisions, the number of pages, and the functionality required. The time frame for implementation varies on complexity and the number of web pages and blog posts. Of course, these are general guidelines, and we will make every effort to meet the time frame you have in mind. In most cases, we are waiting on the client to submit content for their website and the client is not waiting on us.
How is new website cost determined?
Websites are quoted as a fixed bid project. The cost structure is based on the package selected, the complexity of functionality, the size of the website, and the need for marketing support such as search engine optimization, and social media integration. Every project is unique and we try to make sure our pricing is based on your specific needs and not what we think the market will tolerate.
There are many, many factors that influence the ultimate cost of any given website, and we encourage you to read articles regarding Website pricing for more information and guidance in searching for your Website provider.
Do you accept every client?
Absolutely not. If the client is not a good fit, the opportunity is not quoted. Creating a new website is a big endeavor, so the website designer or developer and their client need to have synergies for the project to launch successfully. We submit an estimated cost to inquiries coming from our Online Contact Us form and we will submit Proposal with Contract when requested. If we don’t feel that we’re a good fit or that feature and specifications of a website you need isn’t a good fit for us, we’ll quickly tell you so.

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. We build your website on our development server or within your Web Server, and provide you with a username and password so that you can log in and monitor the progress of your site. During this phase, we encourage your feedback if something isn’t quite the way you envisioned it or if you’ve changed your mind. This is a question we often receive from startup companies and entrepreneurs. Although we don’t offer design templates today, we are planning to release a gallery of templates in the near future.
What kind of hosting do I need to support my website?
Our website framework runs best on a Linux server with PHP 7 capabilities. Most hosting companies will easily support these requirements. If you have any concern on your hosting company’s support options, we are happy to investigate your existing hosting package and provide assistance with new hosting if needed. If shared hosting is enough for you, we’re big fans of GoDaddy.
Can I update my website after launch?
The beauty of WordPress is the ease of use it provides. Each all-inclusive website design project will include getting to know on how to use your WordPress Admin Dashboard, so most clients are more than capable of updating and adding website pages as needed. Since some clients do not want to maintain their own websites, we offer ongoing maintenance with an additional cost per month or quarter preferable by the client.
We don’t have a lot of high quality images so what do you suggest?
There are a number of websites that offer affordable stock images for use in website design projects. Most image cost less than $20 per high resolution image. We typically recommend Shutterstock.com, iStockphoto.com and Bigstockphoto.com. If you like one of our photos or our client’s photos, it is safe to assume it was purchased at one of these websites.
